Corporate Social Responsibility


At Ferring we want to go beyond just the manufacture and sale of our products. We strive to be a good citizen and have positive effects on both people and the environment. 

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been a part of Ferring’s business within the countries for many years and in 2012 we decided to initiate a global approach for CSR. At the start of 2015 we published our first CSR Review.

CSR Pillars

Our approach to CSR is firmly rooted in our founding PhilosophyIt drives our focus on our four CSR 'pillars':

  • Objective: Support, develop and meet people's needs and rights
  • Objective: Conduct ourselves ethically in the market place
  • Objective: Minimise our environmental footprint
  • Objective: Engage with and support the communities around us



In 2013 Ferring established a cross-cultural and cross-functional global taskforce to steer the progress of CSR at Ferring. It also exists to guide and support Ferring affiliates in developing their respective journeys, help define future strategies, and to report progress to our Board on a regular basis.
